Levi is a white female rock-rap musician with ‘whistle voice’ range.
She raps, writes, programs, records & produces her own songs.
Growing up in Ithaca, NY she started Suzuki violin at age 3 and went on
to sing & act at Interlochen National Music Camp in Michigan,
North Carolina School of the Arts & later in Chicago.
Exciting live shows followed where she shined worldwide: The Madrid, Spain TV show "Viva El Espectaculo", a rave at the Ahoy arena in Holland for an audience of 10,000 and "Energy Express" TV theme song performance for the Chicago Mayor’s cup , written by Levi. Live performances as lead vocalist and songwriter captivated audiences in Chicago: Radio personality Frankie ‘Hollywood’ Rodriguez’ sponsored shows at the Oak Theater, Cubby Bear and an ASCAP showcase at the China Club the same night as (tongue) Twista. Levi also had fun doing voiceovers for the Chicago Children’s museum.
From there to Kingston, Jamaica she recorded a song with "Fugee La" remixer Handel Tucker and his cousin Junior Tucker. Recordings include spotlight vocal performances on DJ Scrappy’s "Love Motion" #8 on a British dance chart, backgrounds for Martin Atkin’s band Pigface, 2 of Lil’ Louis’ albums on Epic records, 2 of Die Warzau’s albums on Fiction & TVT, and a song demo for Yankee B’s debut Gee Street /V2 record. Commercials include demos for Coke, Dentyne Ice, Sears Canada, AT&T.
Levi has had demo deals with Epic/550 and lava/Atlantic and now gets
play on XMsatellite radio channel 52, several other webcasts and radio stations.
Her debut indie cd ‘another jennifer’ is out now. Levi invested in her own Protools LE set up on a Mac G4, recorded & produced the whole album and then guru mix engineer Bonzai made it radio-ready.

* LEVI fact * She registered for & was awarded a Trademark in the categories of cds & live performances, but dropped it in return for LEVI’s jeans company agreeing to never sue her nor claim she is infringing on their trademarks. She agrees not to write LEVI on clothing or accessories & has the right to use the name in connection with her cds & live performances in all media throughout the world.
