DFJ was created entirely through the internet. 3 individuals met online through their participation in MCR Records in the late 90's and decided to work together in a collaborative effort.
Don Semco, otherwise known as Donaldo writes some of the music and does the drum programming. He also plays bass, guitar, and piano.
Fred Wheeler, from the group StrangeCloud and known for his solo work Qui Custodientes Custodient also plays guitars and keyboards.
Jimmy Stewart, also known as "The Jiminator" or "Jimmy Slots" has long been regarded as one of the top guitarist in the indie world, plays the lead guitar and writes the lyrics and sings.
